OUR SITE
The Jasper Folk Music Festival is located in Commemoration Park - 1324 Pyramid Lake Road - in the heart of Jasper, Alberta. There is parking at the large Activity Centre parking lot on the other side of the building and there is now also a daily bus service in town! Taxis, bicycles, and dancing feet are also accepted travel means

WRISTBANDS
When you enter the Main Gate, (located at the entrance nearest to the Jasper Royal Canadian Legion), you will receive either a weekend or a daily wristband. The wristbands are NOT transferable and you must wear the wristband at all times when on site. Seniors 65-79 must show ID for the reduced senior rate. Children 12 and under are free but they must also wear a children’s wristband and be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Teens 13-17 get a youth ticket, but they must have ID. (You will also need identification to purchase alcohol at the Beer Gardens.) Our awesome seniors 80 and older are free and can choose if they wish to wear the wristband: they’ve earned that right!

SAFER SPACES
The Jasper Heritage Folk and Blues Society is committed to providing a safe space for people of all races, ethnicities, ages, gender identity, gender expression, ability, or other personal characteristics. If you are feeling unsafe about any fellow festival-goers or their activities, please notify a volunteer and we will help you.

SEATING
To avoid blocking the view of other patrons, only use seats with a maximum total height of 66 cm (26 inches), with a maximum seat/leg height of no more than 20 cm (8 inches). We also have picnic tables and bleachers scattered throughout the park and everyone is welcome to share those! There will be a designated area for larger chairs and shade tents at the back of the seating area.

PETS
Your Shaggy friend is fine for the festival, just not Scooby. Sorry, Scoobs. No animals are allowed in the festival grounds, (except for certified Service Dogs).

SUPPLIES TO REMEMBER
Water! Some years it can get up to +30! In September!! There is a water bottle refill station inside the Activity Centre. (There are also indoor toilets in there, but who needs those when you have porta potties as an option?) Hats, sunscreen, bug repellent, rain gear, and warm clothes for the evening. (Hey, we didn’t say that it STAYED at +30, now did we?)

FIRST AID
The First Aid tent is staffed with volunteer healthcare providers. Look for the red cross and the smiling faces of our trusty volunteers. (If an emergency situation occurs, thankfully the Seton-Jasper Healthcare Centre is only two blocks away.)

ONSITE BEER CONSUMPTION
Fancy way to say Beer Gardens, hey?! Liquor can be consumed across the festival site, but CANNOT be brought onto the site. Bag checks WILL be in effect when you enter the site. Be considerate of your neighbours when consuming beverages at your space.

SMOKING
In consideration of non-smokers and to comply with provincial and municipal bylaws, smoking is permitted only in the North-East corner of the field. Please pinch and pocket your butts or dispose of them in the sand cans. (Look for the GlowSticks lighting the cans!) And due to municipality bylaws, there is NO marijuana consumption anywhere on the site.

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
In the event of an emergency, designated emergency personnel will provide you with instructions. Please remain calm, gather your family, friends and belongings, and use an exit convenient to your means of transport. (The Activity Centre is also a designated Muster location for the Town of Jasper in the event of a town-wide emergency.)
